So we’ve all heard it, read it, and talked about it maybe a million times… but do you use meal planning to save some dough?
I can’t say I’ve done my best when it comes to meal planning in the past. We always end up with meals on the table but this is an area of organization I would really like to work on in our household.
Last week I made a new printable to use… because every new organization project is so much better when its colorful and pretty!
You know it’s true!
With the printable I planned out healthier meals and snacks! I also used ingredients we already had on hand to plan our meals which saved us some moolah! AND the best part of all… I SAVED TIME! Oh precious, precious time!
I didn’t stand in front of the fridge pondering what to snack on…
“ice cream… NO!”
or waste time sorting through our pantry to create a miracle meal from canned beans and veggies.
I had a plan in my pocket! Almost as good as having a personal chef… almost.
I planned everything out on Sunday, bought groceries and prepped and chopped as much as I could for the week. It made every meal so quick and easy last week!
Here you can print one for yourself! I added a row for exercise as well because I’ve been trying to be more active again. Boy can I tell you this weather is really helping me on that one! 🙂

Using a meal plan helped my creativity in the kitchen last week too. We made these, juicy BBQ Shredded Chicken Sliders! They will definitely be a new crock-pot favorite of ours!
I’ll share that recipe later this week and my secret ingredient so stay-tuned!
