Donuts
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium/high heat. Test the oil after a few minutes with a donut hole. Once small bubbles start to form around the dough, the oil is ready.
Fry the donut holes and donuts in the hot oil for about 30-45 seconds per side or until golden and cooked through.
Transfer to a paper towel lined plated to drain and cool.
Once cool enough to handle, dip into your favorite toppings and serve!
Chocolate Icing With Sprinkles
Melt the chocolate chips and cream in the microwave (just a few seconds to melt - don't over cook)
Stir together to completely melt and then add the coconut oil and combine.
Dip donuts in the chocoalte and then sprinkle and enjoy!
Caramel Icing
Melt the butter in a small sauce pan over medium/low heat.
Add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved and slightly bubbling at the edges.
Turn off the heat and stir in the heavy whipping cream, vanilla and salt.
Transfer to a bowl and whisk in powdered sugar until reaching the desired icing consistency
Dip and spin the donuts into the caramel frosting and enjoy!
