Happy hump day y’all!
I wanted to take a time out this evening and share some precious photos with you. I’ve been working on some crafty ideas and cooking up some goodness so stay-tuned for those! I have a sneak peek at one project at the end of this post! 😉
Dan has been very busy creating a showroom for Rustic Honey in one of the buildings by our house. This is going to give me so much more space a great place to showcase all of my merchandise for shoppers that are in the area. After months of working diligently (after work… after chores…after dinner…) it was ready for paint! A couple Saturdays ago, we began painting the showroom. The weather was perfect! That afternoon we had some special visitors…
The mobile lemonade stand stopped by!
Kylie & Logan, our niece and nephew, stopped by with grandma and grandpa to see if we needed any lemonade while we worked. They were so excited!
We all laughed as we read the sign the kids had made for the stand.
“Lemonade stan(d) 1$ and worm sale 1$”
They never seem to run out of ways to be creative! Logan may be a salesman when he grows up! He told Grandpa to put a photo so them on Facebook so more people would come by the lemonade stand! Pretty smart for a 6 year old! 😉
And you would think the worm sale would have been a boy’s idea but you may guess again if you knew miss Kylie. She’s not afraid to get dirty and find some slimy worms!
Pink boots and all…
They sure do keep us guessing!
Alright, here is my “sneak peek” at a project I did recently. Any guesses as to how I up-cycled this Christmas candy tin? Or any ideas of what you could make with it?!
