Finally starting to GET THINGS DONE today!
This week has been a little… odd. I worked all day on Saturday and then the Super Bowl made Sunday feel like a Saturday. AND after that mess, we had another big winter storm push through with snow and negative temps this week. Dan was home because of the weather and so I decided I should give myself a snow day as well! Why not?!
“Unmotivated.” That would be my word for this week! I hate that feeling! However, it was nice to relax and just be in the present.
Tuesday afternoon, when most of the snow fell here, I “helped” (probably more in the way than he lets me believe) Dan feed cows and work in the shed. I so badly just needed to be OUT OF THE HOUSE! I wore plaid, muck boots and a carhart jacket with peanuts in the pocket… did chores and roasted (my first) whole chicken for dinner – what a glorious “countrified” day it was! HAHA!
During my laziness, I came across some wintery photos I had forgotten to edit and share with you! These were actually taken this past December after a big ice storm! I’m really ready for spring but in the spirit and beauty of winter, I thought I’d pass these along.
Grab a blanket and sit by the fire to view the below… they are quite chilly.
And if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already seen the infamous barn I snapped during Tuesday’s snow storm. LOVE THIS BARN!
Thanks for stopping in! See you again soon!
Stay cozy… after all, we’ll be back to sweating before you know it!
