All the beautiful flowers popping up around the farmhouse have reminded me of some photos I took a few weeks back. We had some refreshing April showers and I captured these photos as one of the first thunderstorms of the season approached.
There is nothing like the smell of a thunderstorm approaching! I enjoy it even more in the middle of summer when everything is yearning for a good shower.
Can you smell the storm through my pictures? I sure wish they were of the scratch-and-sniff variety!
I pray this weather continues. My dad says he is praying for consistency this year. We don’t need miracle weather, tons of rain… just consistency. We’ll take small pop-up showers any chance we get this summer!
Today, we’re not worried about rain. It’s in the forecast for later in the week so I’m enjoying the warm sunshine and bright flowers today!
I’m horrible with the names of flowers. Anyone want to name all the ones I have pictured?
What varieties are blooming in your neck of the woods?
Thanks as always for stopping by!
