What day is it?!
I guess I let time slip away from me as a new blog post has been on my to-do list SINCE BLACK FRIDAY!
I don’t know about you, but I feel that Christmas really snuck up on me this year. Are you in the same boat?
It is going to be a simple Christmas this year and I’m kind of excited about that. We have gone through a lot of changes this year and I’m excited to just relax, reflect and party the week away with my family and friends. I feel at ease knowing 2013 is just about under my belt and 2014 is on track to deliver more challenges, experiences, events and awesome memories!
This is probably sounding super cheesy but this time of year there is always that pivotal moment when you realize you must say goodbye to the present and hello to another year of adventures. At no other time of year do we think so hard about the upcoming 365 days! What we’ve done and what we plan to do.
I found this quote the other day (because I’m addicted to quotes on Pinterest) and thought I’d share here.
What do you hope to write in your next 365 pages?
In 2014, I’m hoping for a little less change and a lot more growth. I want to sink my roots into everything I have and be grounded and focused to be better at what I do and who I am. I want to be the best me thus far.
(I should probably walk away from this post while still sounding somewhat sane… I promise I did not have a glass of wine before this post, haha!)
I want to thank EVERYONE who is reading this. YOU ARE SO APPRECIATED! I am happy that you feel connected to this little place on the web in some way or another. You make your way through my ramblings, watch all my craziness and still come back to see more. YOU are a great friend!
In 2014, I want to do more for you! If you have anything you ever want to see on the blog, please feel free to comment below or email me at therustichoney@gmail.com! I would love to hear from you more often!
May this Christmas find you and your family warm, merry, and full of joy (and chocolate)!
God bless,
Rustic Honey
P.S. Bear wanted to say Merry Christmas as well. He was really excited to pose for the camera (hence the “Blue Christmas” theme, haha!)
